I (Dan) have been working on my solo EP ‘Shell’ under the name Analog_In for the last six months with a good friend of mine, Mark Bowie.

All the parts were written and recorded without any of the featured musicians actually meeting or hearing each others parts. Jack White plays piano and Kay Russant (Winter Villains/The School) plays violin on this particular track ‘Tears Of The Avalanche Girl’.

The EP has been mastered and I am just starting the artwork process, which I have designed myself. I will be screen printing and manufacturing all the EP covers into a neat little package.

I’m really excited to finally finish this EP. The music and content mean a lot to me. Take a listen on the linked track!

Samoans - Catamaran 15/50

I saw Samoans last summer and really enjoyed their set but I never really listened to much afterwards. When I saw this release being put out on the Kissability label I picked it up as the music and the label are both pretty cool. The A side is the single, Catamaran. The B side is a song named Secret Sixth.

Next show is in London at The Old Blue Last with some of our very good friends, Theo, Olympians + KUTOSIS. It’s a free show so we hope to see loads of people there early to catch our set.  We recently played our first London show at The Queen Of Hoxton and were taken aback by the turn out and crowd reaction so we’re really looking forward to coming back. Autumn Tour

So we’re heading out on tour again in November with our very good friends KUTOSIS, who we had the pleasure of touring with the exact same time last year! We can’t wait to get out on the road again. KUTOSIS will be promoting the release of their amazing debut album, ‘Fanatical Love’ (which you can listen to the first single from the album, ‘Shadows/Skin’ at www.kutosis.co.uk/listen) and we’ll be airing our brand new material for all to hear, ready for recording in the winter.

BBC Radio 1 Session + Tour News

So, this week we are heading in to Longwave Studios with our good friend, Romesh Dodangoda, to record our first ever live session for BBC Radio. To say we’re excited is an understatement.

We will be recording a couple of already established songs and a couple of new tracks, which we absolutely love playing. We’ll let you know when the session is due on air closer to the date!

In other news, we’ll be heading out on tour in June for two weeks with the great Without Maps (http://withoutmaps.bandcamp.com/). It’ll be our first proper stint round the UK and we’re pretty stoked to finally break outside of the local scene.

We’ll post up the tour dates once they have all been confirmed.
